Typically, if you're on hormonal contraception, you will only test for AMH, TSH, and FT4. You will not test for the ovulation hormones (FSH, LH and E2) because the contraception is suppressing your ovulation. When this happens, we use what your period was like prior to going on contraception as the best indicator for your ovulation regularity.
